The Eye Squad can be reached 24 hours a day anywhere in Israel by dialing *9111. You can also e-mail us anytime at info@eyesquad.org.
Is there a charge for using the Eye Squad's services?
No. There are no charges associated with calling the Eye Squad or corresponding with us in any way. Should you decide to seek out a third party professional, such as a therapist, based on interaction with the Eye Squad, fees of the professional may apply.
Will the Eye Squad report back to my school or my parents?
The success of the Eye Squad hotline rests in its ability to remain confidential. All conversations, whether with a student, parent, educator, or therapist, are kept in strict confidence. We are willing and able to help you speak with your parents or the staff of your school if the situation warrants.
Will the Eye Squad pay for me to get therapy?
Currently, the Eye Squad does not assist with funding for students who require therapy. We hope to establish a designated fund specifically for this purpose in the future. In the meantime, we will do our best to help you find or negotiate affordable professional help.
Do I have to be shana aleph (first year) to call the Eye Squad?
No. Any English-speaking Diaspora student can contact the Eye Squad.
Are the Eye Squad's services for religious kids only?
No. The Eye Squad serves all English-speaking Diaspora students, regardless of their affiliation or level of observance.
What if I don't have major problems like drug addiction or an eating disorder—is the Eye Squad still for me?
YES. We are here for you to talk about issues large and small. Call us whenever you want for whatever you need.
